Best Tricks:
Frank sits well for treats and thinks he will keep getting more and more treats if he keeps sitting and staring at us. He's also pretty good at going limp like a ragdoll when he's sleepy.

Arrival Story:
We almost didn't have Frank because he has a overbite and we were worried that he'd have problems with it in later life but he was far too beautiful to resist and we went to pick him up one hot August day. His Grandad came with us on the long journey to fetch him from his breeder's house. Frank spends most weekdays at his Grandma's shop while Mummy and Daddy are at work. He gets cuddled and fussed over by all the customers, especially old ladies and children. He often comes home smelling of old ladies' lavendar perfume.

Bio:
Frank's great- great- great grandad was the first miniature smooth-haired dachshund to win best in show at an all breed championship show!! He's very proud of this, and now thinks he is a special royal dachshund.

White stuff

Mummy took me out for a walk early this morning. She put on my coat I've had since I was a puppy, it doesn't quite fit now that I am a big almost 8 months old dog. When we went out the door it was all different. There was no grass or road, just some strange white stuff all over the place. It was cold on my little paws. It touched my belly a bit and I didn't like it. I was very excited to get out on my walk though so I carried on walking through the whie stuff then I noticed my big sister, Lucy, running about like mad and biting the white stuff. I tasted some and it was just like cold fresh water. I like the white stuff! I can run through it and gallop and leap and skid and I had great fun with Lucy. Mummy liked it too, she was laughing and grinning.

Chinese food

Last night was fun, Great Uncle Steve came over and he and Mummy and Daddy had Chinese food. Lucy and I just had our regular doggy food which I thought was a bit unfair. So I managed to look as cute as is doggily possible, snuggled up ot Great Uncle Steve and lapped up some of his dinner from his plate while he wasn't looking. He just laughed instead of making me go and lay down with Lucy like Mummy or Daddy would do. I like Great Uncle Steve! And I like Chinese food!

I have new skills! I can now jump up onto the chairs and sofa without human assistance! I can get onto the big bed too if I try really, really hard to summon all my springy sausage strength. Now that I can go anywhere I want my cunning plan of world domination will soon be achieved!!
