Arrival Story:
My husband is a police officer and got a call while on patrol that there was a puppy wandering around. He picked him up and took him to the pound, as required, but called me to tell me that he really wanted this puppy if the owners weren't found. 3 days later we brought him home. We were told he was 5-6 months, but when we took him to the vet, the vet said he was only 4 months, but 42 pounds already. He is going to be a big boy!

Update 1/12/2009 I am now 61 pounds at 6 months and still eating.
Update 1/28/2009 I am now 69 pounds.
Update 5/2009 I am 95 pounds and counting....

I love the summer! Mom and Dad let me spend so much time outside and I just love to chew on all the new things out there! There's this one big thing that I like to pull the branches off of and run around with and then I chew, chew, chew on them and OHHHH it is so fun!!!! And there is this thing that is on the side of the house that I have seen water come out of sometimes when it rains and when I pulled on it it came apart like a puzzle! Except I never have been good at puzzles so I just ran around with the pieces for a while. Then I found these white balls in this long plastic thing. Those were a little hard to get out but I did it!!! Those were so fun to chew but I think my family was a little sad about those. I heard them say something about not being able to use them with the bat anymore.
I don't like it when my mom picks up my poop and takes it away in that bucket. It's like she's taking a part of me. So I thought I might chew the handle off that darn bucket and maybe she can't carry away my poop anymore. So there.

I have discovered fruit. But those bananas are sure hard to get out of the peels. Mom got kind of mad when she saw the kitchen floor, too.
I am pretty good at sneaking the apples off of the counter. This morning mom couldn't remember if she took an apple out of the fridge to put in her lunch or if I took it. The kids ratted me out.
Things that smell like fruit are good too! Lip gloss in particular.

I was only playing today and that rope just slid down so easily -- I just didn't want Sandy to get it from me and I thought I could hide it for a minute in my throat but it didn't come back up. I managed to get that Cinderella head through so I guess we'll see!
