Arrival Story:
Winnie was a rescued dog. Her known history started in the rain outside a McDonald's. She was taken in by a family who discovered that she had heartworm disease and is deaf. They, wonderful people that they are, treated her for heartworms before finding that they just couldn't keep her. She was to be euthanized when I took her home for the weekend to meet my male Dal, Maxwell. They fell in love, and we fell in love with her, and she's been a beautiful part of our lives ever since.
