Arrival Story:
Ginger was a stray who then found a temporary home in a Humane Society shelter in Albuquerque, NM. We adopted her when she was 7 months old. We were just looking that day and not necessarily planning to leave with a dog, but Ginger was so sweet and playful and captured our hearts. She had a lot of anxiety issues with noises, water and being left alone, but now is a great, loving dog. She loves her people and is so smart. She thinks she is a lap dog, and when we got her she was pretty skinny but is really almost 100 lbs now!
