Penny is too cool for toys :) Favorite Food: Pizza crust and chicken Favorite Walk: Anywhere her Daddy takes her on Sundays Best Tricks: She can hold a treat on her nose for a LONG time Arrival Story: Well the story begins back in '99 when our dog Sadie was getting up in her years and my family knew the was no was we could live without all the hair on the floor. So, Mom-mom decided to go to the local Petsmart and take a look at what was adoptable. The requirements were not a big dog and not a hairy dog.....that turned out REAL well..... Well Mom-mom wanted to get Penny's sister but she was already going to a good home, so Mom looked towards the back of the pin and there was the cutest fluff ball ever. Mom-mom caved, signed the papers and home came the little girl! Well Petsmart only told us that Penny was a German Shepard and Golden mix, but I knew a little better when I saw that spotted tounge! Definatley Chow! I looked at her paws and then the fluff that was Penny and laughed, she was going to be a big hairy dog! Well 9 years have gone by now (90 lbs and enough fur to make the family several sweaters) and Penny has truly been the best dog anyone could ask for. She may like to stand or lay right in your way but this family couldn't have it any other way!
