Arrival Story:
She is a rescue from LL Dog Rescue! I was looking for a female buddy for my male Sheltie Mackenzie. One week, there she was at Petco for adoption. I wasn't sure at first when I saw her. She had been shaved due to so many matts. But she was a tail wagger, and she captured my heart! She just looked goofy & funny! She is so different from Mackenzie, and I liked that balance!
Bio:
Supposedly she had been tied up in a backyard for most of her life.
A family memeber tried to take her in, but it wasn't working in her apartment, so she called LL Dog Rescue. Hooray!
To this day Sadie is terrified of being outside during rain or storms. I can only guess that she was tied up outside, and couldn't hide during thunderstorms or rain. She will NOT go outside if she even smells a storm in the air. I have to give her a tranquilizer during storms, or she will pace and whine, and literally try to climb the walls to get away!
