Arrival Story:
I never expected to keep this sweet little dog, I was driving home from work early, and noticed a commotion of cars on the intersate on ramp. I though, "oh no theres been an accident" I noticed a flash of white streak down the side of the freeway, and thought, what is that?? As I drove closer, and was ready to increase my speed a small white dog..sprinted out into the middle of the freeway! I woman in an SUV was crying, and I remember thinking, aww that must be her little puppy, and he's gonna get SMASHED! I immediately slowed to a 40 mph crawl, as did the rest of the folks traveling North that day..and we followed this crazy dog down the freeway for 2 miles!! Seems everytime one of us stopped to scoop him up and into the safety of our vehicle..he would wriggle out of our grasp, and zip down the road!! It was so scary, and I prayed for this little thing...He finally tired, and we were able to corner him in the bushes, He was barking furiously at me, and for a moment I thought he was rabid, but he was just terrorized, I hugged him to my chest, and gave 2 people my contact info..and took him to my veteranarian, he was full of road tar/grease/and was a snaggly flea bitten mess.. but he is alright now, I posted a 'found' notice in our local humane shelter/dog pound..but no one every claimed him..so we have been enjoying his..spunky, playful personality..he is precious..

Bio:
