Heart update

Im Alive!

Hi all, my brofur Tate just got off the puter so now I can have some puter time. My moms been playing phone tag with my cardiologist but she finally got through and I am scheduled for a heart monitor on Dec 7th, so keep paws crossed for me. Ive been feeling good, I havent had anymore passing out spells, but I still am on light duty. No playing ball or running or long walks. Mom lets me play alittle with the tennis ball but when she sees me start to shake in my back legs or if I look like Im starting to breathe hard-she stops all the fun. So basically right now I am living the life of a couch potatoe. I will try to keep you all posted on how I make out, mom is a mess worrying about me. Hope everyone has a Happy Halloween, I just had tons of pictures taken of me in my costume so when mom has time she will post them for you all to see:) Woof! Love, Bumble

My Friend Doodle tagged me!

Hi all, I was tagged by my friend Doodle so here goes:)
1. What color is your collar: Today I am sporting a black nylon collar that says English Bull Terrier on it with lots of bling for the charms/tags. Mom doesnt let me wear the same collar day after day.

2. What kind of food do you eat? I only eat Hills Science Diet, dry.

3. What are your favorite treats? None, mom doesnt give us any, when we practice obedience she uses the Hills Science Diet dry nuggets as our treat.

4, Do you have a Valentine or significant other? No, I like to play the field and be free:)

Moms worried about me:(

Anybody out there with heart problems that could kinda help my mom calm down about me? I was playing with the chuck it ball last Sunday with my sisters Mable and Wilma, we were having a fun time and then all of a sudden, I fainted:( It was only 73 degrees out with a cool breeze and we were only running for around 20 min. Mom started to notice me staggering and then loose interest in the tennis ball. By the time she got to me, I fainted and was lying flat out on my side with heavy breathing and drooling alittle and my gums were really red. She couldnt lift my tank like body up so she got a leash and kinda pulled me up with that and helped me inside. She put me on the couch and put the fan on me. I drank some water and it took me 40 minutes to get back to regular breathing. She took me to the vets and they did tons of tests and they think I might have some kind of arithmia? I have to go back to the vets on Monday and they are going to do more tests but then I do have to go see a cardiologist and wear a vest that monitors my heart. Has anyone out there ever have anything like that happen? I am only 4 years old, very athletic (and hot!). I see my vet regularly with no problems, no heart murmur. The only thing against me is my breed, the vets said bull terriers are known for heart probs:( Any input would be helpful so mom can stop freaking out. The worse thing is that I cant play with my tennis balls till they figure out what is wrong with me:( Hope all is well in dogster land, Love, Bumble

Vacation was awesome!

Hi all my pup pals:) We are back from vacation and we all had a great time. We had 2 weeks of camping on a beach and we had perfect weather the whole time. I had fun playing in the ocean and I even found a dead gross thing in the water, my mom said it was a skate or something. Either way, I didnt touch it, it was too gross. It was my sister Mables first time camping and seeing an ocean and she loves it just as much as I do. I showed her how to play with the waves and not to be afraid of them. The best part is playing with the chuck it ball on the beach, we ran all morning long and then slept in the air conditioned camper during the day while mom and dad hit the beach for some sun. Mom brought our whale pool so we could still play in that during the day with all of our tons of toys. I made friends with a nice state trooper, Officer Willard, mom took pictures and will put them up on my page when she has time. She is still unpacking all my clothes and toys and other stuff. I hope everyone is doing good and I will chat more later when mom lets me use the puter. Nite for now, Love , a well vacationed dog named Bumble:)

Birthday party is over

Good morning, I just wanted to update you all on my birthday fun:) I had a great time at work with my mom, some of her co workers sang Happy Birthday to me and a couple even gave me birthday spankings, which I liked:) Then after work, me and mom played with the chuck it ball and then when we got home I had pool time! Yeah! I opened all my gifts and laughed at Mable while she was trying to eat the wrapping paper, kids. I got lots of tennis balls, a new chuck it ball, a big green jolly ball and tons of new toys for Mable to shred. All in all it was a good day and I passed out at 8pm. Its suppose to rain today so I dont think mom is gonna have my friends over for pool time. Thank you to my friends Doodle and Austin and Diesel for making my birthday special, you are all great friends to have. Hope the rest of your summer is good and have a great weekend. LOve, Bumble

Im 4 Today!!!!

Hi all, Thanks to all my friends that sent me birthday wishes and gifts, I appreciate it very much! I feel the love:) Im getting ready to go to work with mom now and then after its gift time! I hope she throws in a tennis ball game somewhere in the picture, its been kinda rainy here so I havent played with my chuck it ball for awhile. I get to wear my new collar today, mom likes to keep me looking fashionable. Well, I gotta go but thank you to all for the birthday wishes. Woohoo! Birthday time:)

I cant wait for my birthday tommarrow, mom is taking me to work with her so all her co workers can spoil me and hopefully give me gifts too! Then when we get home its present time!!! I know there is alot for me because I saw mom wrapping stuff and putting it quickly away in the closet. I know for sure Im getting a green jolly ball! Woohoo! Then if Sunday is nice, my friends are coming over for a pool party! Life is good:) Hope all is well with everyone and I will keep you posted on how spoiled I get tomarrow. 4 days till my birthday!

I cant believe Im gonna be 4 yrs old! I still act like a silly little pup. Mom is making me have a dentistry tomarrow at the vets, Im not sure if she thinks that is gonna be my birthday gift, but we will have to wait and see. I know I saw a jolly ball be delivered here so Im sure that is for me but the waiting is killing me!!! Mom and dad normally do spoil me, I have so many toys and I use to have more toys before Mable came into the picture, she likes to destroy all my toys. I had my tubby last night and had my nails done and teeth brushed and whiskers all shaved off so I feel awesome right now. Mom gave me an early birthday present, its a new collar that makes me look manly and hot! So wish me well with the dentistry and I cant wait till my birthday!!!!!! Hugs and kisses, Bumble

Look Who's Turning 4 yrs old!

Hi all, I cant believe that I am going to be 4 yrs old on July 25:) My mom still treats me like a baby but the 4 yrs have flown by. Thank god I've been a perfect boy for all those years, thats what my mom says to me all the time. Im her perfect boy! Dad just rolls his eyes but thats probably because he is jealous or just sick of hearing it:) I heard mom talking to her friends on the phone about my party and if its a good day out its gonna be a pool party with all my dog friends!!!! Woohoo!!! Im a pool hog so mom better put up more doggie pools for all the other dogs, I have my own special whale pool that I love. It will be lots of fun and hopefully I will get lots of toys that I can play with. I saw a new jolly ball come in the mail the other day but I didnt telll mom I knew about, we'll keep it a surprise! I was tagged by my buddy Austin today:) My mom gave me permission to use the computer to let you all know what I like in life:

1. The best thing in life is tennis balls! My world would be so empty without them. Mom has to order them special on ebay because thats the only place she can buy tons of them.

2. I love going for long rides, I usually just fall asleep and snore the whole way, but I love it!

3. Going to the dog park and playing with all my friends, hating to get bathed when I get home.

4. Playing with the chuck it ball at the park with my brother and sisters.

5. Being fed is always a plus for me, wish the bowl would never get empty.

6.In the summer time, if Im not at the beach, I love my pool at home. I would stay in it all day if mom would let me.
