Arrival Story:
Before Coop was born, I had a dog named Spot (my first dog ever). Spot was a rescue that no one knew had distemper, so he had to be put to sleep after only a few months of having him. Since I missed having a dog so much, I went with my friend to look at Coop and his siblings on a farm in Germantown (right outside of Memphis). I picked Coop up and played with him for a while and when i set him back down; he would just follow me around and I couldn't resist taking him. Since Spot had distemper, my apartment was infested with the disease. So, one of the nurses at the vet took care of Coop till he was old enough to live in my old apartment in Midtown. Until he could move in, I got to visit him and take him over to my parent's house, but now we live together and he has even come with me to live in Washington, DC.
Bio:
When we lived in Memphis Coop used to get to play with his brother, Duncan, who is owned by my best friend. I always thought it was cool that Coop got to hang out with a relative.
