Likes:
ATTENTION, playing with her toys, jumping and leaping (record-highs), running as fast as possible, doing tricks

Pet-Peeves:
When someone else is getting my attention

Favorite Toy:
Her eco-friendly friends...rhino, monkey, and cougar. Also, her fleece bone (the first toy she ever got), her bumblebee, and her new Buster Food Puzzle Cube--awesome for smart dogs!

Favorite Food:
Taste of the Wild

Favorite Walk:
The Broad Ripple dog park

Best Tricks:
High five, roll over, and jump up (super high!) are the best out of her lineup so far...but she also has crawl, speak (quietly and loudly), stand up, sit pretty, she can balanace a treat on her nose, then flip it and catch it, shake, retrieve her leash...

Arrival Story:
I had been searching for months for what kind of dog would be perfect for me at this time in my life. I'm a senior in college, still living on the rural farm I grew up on, but will be graduating and going on to vet/graduate school next year. I've always liked big, hearty, lovable dogs, but knew that a lab or golden wouldn't be happy cooped up all day during the time I'm away at class or work. I needed a dog that would be versatile and fit my free-spirited, sponanteous, nature-loving personality, yet be very smart and tolerable at the same time. I had to have a dog that could hold it's own on a farm, but also be happy in an apartment. Although I typically adopt, I knew that wouldn't necessarily work this time. I had to find exactly what I wanted. During the months of searching, I came across the Wheatens...and fell in love! I searched far and wide for someone who had them that was not a quick-breeder, puppy mill, and definitely not a pet store...and I found just that! A small farm in Missouri had three puppies left, and Sadie was one of them! I fell in love with her and spent a whole day driving from my Indiana farm nearly all the way through Missouri to pick her up and spent the rest of my spring break bonding with her!

Bio:
Sadie's parent's names are Sally and Romeo.
