The Life and Times of Rusty the Beagle

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Sorry I haven't written in a while, I have been busy with all the holidays. I had so much fun opening my presents this year. I got lots of treats, some booties, a nice black hooded jacket, a sweater and new collar. My mommy said she was gonna get me a new bed, but she decided to make a big one herself which will be big enough for me and my brother cuz we like to sleep together.

An early peep at my xmas presents

Today my mom brought home a bag from the pet store (I know cuz I can smell these things). When she took the things out of the bag she told me that it was sweaters and booties for me and my brother, I was sooo excited. I love putting on clothes for my mommy cuz it makes her laugh, but this is the first time she bought me my own clothes=:) She told us that it was for xmas but she had to try it on to make sure they fit. I really liked the sweaters but they were a little tight. I'm a little overweight which is why mommy bought us the sweaters cuz we will be doing lots of walking this winter. Mommy says she will keep them cuz they should stretch and we will be losing weight. The booties felt weird but i didn't mind them so much, but they kinda started twisting and falling off, so mommy says she will need to bring them back to get a smaller size. I like the clothes we are getting for xmas but i hope mommy gets more toys and treats too.
