Likes: Being my shadow...and just being in contact with me when I sit or I lie down.
Pet-Peeves: Switching to dry food.
Favorite Toy: His stuffed squeaky porcupine. He gets anxious when you hold it, rather than playful.
Favorite Food: Chicken and rice wet food over all. And, of course, dried liver.
Favorite Walk: When we exercise, there's this one field/hill like the Sound of Music that he just loves!
Best Tricks: He likes to be the little spoon...it's kind of a trick.
Arrival Story: I originally wanted to own and work with a Siberian Husky but I realized his quality of life wouldn't be fulfilled since I'll be staying in an apartment for a few years. So after some digging, we discovered the AKK and I was stunned. We found a breeder and started our adventure together on the 26th of September, 2008.
Bio: My mother used to show Irish Setters when I was a child and we've always had many different dogs with many different personalities. My mother would always rescue dogs and rehabilitate them from abused dogs to physically handicapped dogs and she has been an inspiration to me. Now I'm trying to rehabilitate my AKK. He's been solely a kennel dog for the 7 months prior to my time with him with little human interaction, which is making socialization and training quite a task...but we're moving along pretty well.
Forums Motto: Mr. Invisible...wait, you can see me?
