Watson Park (the park with the train as most of us know it)... lots of room to run, smell flowers, and visit with other dogs

Arrival Story:
This dog chose me!! Hadn't even considered a cocker spaniel, but once she saw me, she crawled over 4 of her brothers, clammering to get me to notice her and pick her up. She stole my heart, so I did! And then she peed on me, officially marking me as hers! Now I had to bring her home. Was technically a Christmas gift for my husband at the time, but she was mama's girl and wound up really being the best present "I" ever got!

Bio:
MeLady was the best friend I ever, EVER had... loyal to me from the day we met until the day she passed on, my constant and closest companion for almost 11 years. I fear she gave me far more joy than I probably did her, but the Lord knows I loved my baby and we had a lot of fun over all those years and she helped dry many a tear. She was silly, affectionate, sometimes a pain in the rear (loved to get into the trash, steal kleenexes and shred them, greet me every evening in the restroom, and that nervous pee thing... her bottom would be wiggling from happiness while meeting someone new, or me if I was gone from the room for more than 10 minutes--ha--and peeing at the same time... built-in sprinkler system I called it), but most of all she was just plain loving and super sweet. And every night I still say goodnight to her and pray she's having fun with other furry friends who've passed on up at Rainbow Ridge.
