I can tell you what I'm like: It depends, of course, on my mood. I'm usually considered one part sassy, one part folksy, and ~ depending on my outfit ~ sometimes a little bit schleppy.

Arrival Story:
I was born on 05/05/05 - yip, Cinco de Mayo of 2005. I'm assuming that with this fun fact comes good luck - at least whenever I'm around a 5 (give or take a couple of numbers). In the spirit of that Mexican connection, the sibling I was closest to is a sister, Tango. However, I take more after the French side of the family. My mother, an intense darkhaired showdog called Olive, was the best flycatcher this side of Egg Harbor, New Jersey (near my birthplace). My father was owned by a New Jersey family by the name of Gambino - the, how you say, 'chiacchierone' side of my personality may spring from that line.
However, I now resoundingly reside in West Nyack, New York, though I try to weekend at Grandma and Grandpaw's in Litchfield, Connecticut. In this way I become more conversant with a certain New England reserve.
My closest friends include my stepsiblings, kit-cats Leocadie and Crinkles; half-poodle half-Bijon pal Jake; Golden Retrievers Charlie and his girlfriend, whose name I keep conveniently forgetting; an Irish Setter, also named Charlie, and his senior mixed-breed bud Sullivan; a red Golden named Red; and a no-name white mishmash named Lucky.

I ♥ a howlin' Kentuckian named Bubba Rufus (http://www.dogster.com/dogs/917162), one of this site's many foster pups, and he included me in his diary entry. I'm one of the luckiest ones, born by sheer chance into comfortable circumstances. One day, when I cross over into the broader canine cosmos, I believe that in the sweetest, softest little nooks will loll our discarded and rescued pets - and the two-leggeds who cared for them.
