My First Date... and My First Kiss

Tonight I took my Valentine, Dakota to the Valentine's Dance at the Black Cat Irish Pub. It was fantastic! We had a romantic table, we danced, ate a delicious dinner, and afterwards I walked her home.
She gave me a kiss, and I gave her another one!

Sweet Dreams tonight..... gosh, she was so pretty.....

1/26/09 Tag.... Football !!!

Hut one..hut two...I got the pigskin handed off to me by Colt - My Angel Daddy. Here are the rules: I'm gett'n my "team" together and I'm gonna cross that line and make a touchdown! Before the ref raises his boney little arms to signal the 6 points I gotta spill the beans (pffht..excuse me!) about myself and then pass the ball to 5 of my furiends who will each do the same. Don't forget to leave me a bone to let us know you got our hand signals and you're in the "game".

Woh!!!

Well, I was 7 wks old last Friday. Had those mean ole shots the week before that.... Mom says I've doubled in weight and I'm gettin' meaner. We're working on that though, I don't like the paper whackin' sound - and Mom can whack awful loud!

I'm already bigger than Suki, and I'm catching up on Buster fast! Mom says my feet are huge, so Roxie better watch out too! My favorite chew toys are anybody's socks that they leave on the floor... Don't those boys know that dogs love stinky stuff???

I've decided that my new sleepin' place is by the dog food bag. That way - I always get first dibs on food! Have to guard it...never know about those cats...

Mom started walking me on a harness and leash last weekend. Not too bad, but I'd rather run free.

What are some good hidin' places? I need to find a place to hide stuff I've been chewin' on, 'cause obviously - the middle of the living room floor ain't workin'......... that just brings on the paper whackin' sound again ; (

The Story Behind My Name

I have a big name to grow into, and here is the story behind it...

If you look at the members of my family, you will see Roxie - and on her page you will see that she has a boyfriend named Colt. They really love each other very much, and even though Colt went to the Rainbow Bridge on 9-18-08 because of Lymphoma cancer, he is still with us in spirit and we still talk to him all the time! Colt loves his Mom very much and so do we.

On November 5, my new "human" Mom saw an ad for Rottweiler pups and something just made her call and come by to see all of us. When she saw me, all she could think of was Colt! So, of course she brought me home with her. I'm named Colt in honor of Roxie's boyfriend - who is also my "spiritual" daddy! Apollo is a name my "human" Mom really likes, and Wolfgang is a German name that also has to do with my "human" dad's favorite band - Van Halen...

Kinda confusin' I know...but that's my story!
