Arrival Story:
Dallas is my new foster dog! He is a deaf Aussie/pitbull mix. Originally from Georgia, his family had to surrender him to a shelter in the Altanta area due to a home foreclosure. He was scheduled to be gassed at the shelter, but was pulled by a rescue in GA just in time. However, Dallas had severe heartworm and spent two months in a foster home in GA recovering. He almost died twice, but is now heartworm free! In October 2008, Dallas was transported here in NYC! He is looking for his forever home.
