Sippy cups. They are so fun to chew.

Liver dog treats are pretty yummy.

Favorite Walk:
Around the neighborhood, visiting with all the loose-running neighbor dogs.

Best Tricks:
Knowing when someone is feeling down and snuggling with them to make them feel better.

Arrival Story:
Zooey was adopted from the Seattle Humane Society in December, 2007. She had just had a litter of puppies and they had all been adopted and she was left. She was so calm and relaxed even in the shelter that we knew she would have the right energy to join our family. She is sweetest, calmest, most eager to please dog I have ever known and I am thankful every day that we adopted her. I also foster dogs for the SHS and Zooey so far has been such a help with that, being a wonderful big sister/mother to the dogs we have fostered so far. I think she wants to keep them all forever, just like we do. It is just as hard for her to give them back as it is for us because foster dogs are so quick to bond with us and we with them.

Bio:
Zooey is hoping to start a Canine Good Citizen class in January to become a therapy dog. So many people have told us that she would make a great therapy dog because she is so calm and affectionate and gets along with everyone and everything. And gosh, we think they are right!
