Leave a bone for Brady

Nicknames: Fraidy Brady

Quick Bio:
Likes: His new bed, giving slobbery mouthy kisses, drinking lots of water and sloshing it around

Pet-Peeves: Being left in his crate

Favorite Toy: Yummy peanut butter filled Kong!

Favorite Food: Thankfully he hasn't learned how yummy people food is yet, and hopefully never will. He loves ice cubes (learned that one from Hannah), Scooby Snacks, Science Diet Puppy Natural - wolfs that down in 5 seconds!

Favorite Walk: Around the block, bumping into Hannah all the way

Best Tricks: Shredding plush toys and/or articles of clothing on the floor

Arrival Story: Brady just came home with us after spending the last 8 months in an animal control facility. How he was overlooked for so long, I'll never know, but I'm glad he was because he's just the pup we've been looking for!

Bio: Brady gets bolder and bolder by the day. This morning he woke us up at 5 am to go outside. He's learned that the couch is the best seat in the house, and he's destroyed every toy we've given him. He is good about knowing what he can and cannot chew, but if he grabs that shoe before you've told him the shoe is off limits - look out cause you're buying new shoes!!

Well it's been over a week at the new place and I have to tell you it's awesome. I have my own bed to sleep in upstairs and in the living room - I think I'm the luckiest ever. Mom and Dad have learned that I like to destroy things - pretty much anything they'll let me chomp at. This morning they placed what I think is some well deserved trust in me and I was allowed downstairs while they were still in bed. So I found a new shoe! By the time Dad came down, I had definately made some progress but bah humbug he told me to stop. I went to the vet and passed with flying colors though I REALLY don't like the car. It makes me poop. I pooped everywhere in Mommy's brand new car, but she didn't mind. Hannah and I are having so much fun - it's great having someone show me the ropes, and let me chew the ropes, but she won't let me chase Mr. Dickens! I don't see the fuss, he's the one who's running all over the place!
Well life is definately better than the shelter. I can't wait to start obedience school - I already know sit, and leave it! Mom tells me I'm gonna love it. We'll see...

Today I came home with the people that kept coming to see me at the shelter. I was dropped off at an animal control facility when I was just 2 months old, and last month the nice people at Richmond Animal League came and got me. I was really shy at first, not even letting anyone walk me. After a few weeks there I was a brand new puppy and that's where I met my mom. She volunteers there and brought in her family to meet me and they were all pretty nice. Then this morning, she came and got me and I came home! I am scared of the cat a little and Hannah is pretty bossy but she's showing me the ropes and I have a great bed to lay on that's all mine. I'll let you know how things go, but so far this place looks okay by me.
