Arrival Story:
Chico was born on August 28, 1991. I bought him from a breeder when he was only 8 weeks old in Monroe, NY in October 1991. There were so many beagles to choose from. He ran up to my sneakers and started pulling on my laces. I chose him because of his great eyes which looked as if he had eyeliner on and his beautiful open markings. We removed the backseat of the van thinking he was going to be some big dog. But he was so tiny we could have fit him in the ashtray. He fell asleep on my lap on the way home.
Bio:
Chico passed away at age 12 in October of 2003 from old age. I buried him in my backyard with his favorite toys. He is deeply missed.
