Yay! Dogster made me a daily diary pick today. THank you Dogster. Quigley and I have a deal that whenever one of us gets an honor from Dogster, the other one has to be nice and wait on the recipient. This will be fun. I'll get the sunniest spot, more massages from Mom and, if he buys it some of his food - that one might not fly.
So happy day - hope all my friends have a fun sunny day.

When someone asks your Mom if they can pet you and she says yes, what do you get? I've experienced pats and strokes. Thankfully my Mom goes beyond those. She goes for the "scruffle" or the "scritch" but for her own kids (that's me and Quigley) it's a massage. Mom has amazing hands, especially her thumbs. She let me get naked this morning and then gave me the best massage I've ever had on my neck and upper body. Then she made me a cozy spot on the bed with Mr. Sun on my whole body. I am so relaxed. And Mom promised me a butt massage later. Can life get any better than this.
Of course Mom can't just go up to pups she doesn't know and massage them, but any dog who spends some time with Mom somehow knows of her talents and they happily beg for her attention. Last year Mom went to an outdoor event with a barnyard of animals in an enclosure. They had a beautiful old golden retriever senior watchdog, that stays with the animals. She was very laid back. Mom sat down and massaged the dog and she would not let her leave. Every time she got up to leave the dog would sit up and put her paw on her "please don't stop" was in her eyes. After 30 minutes, Mom finally had to leave and the dog was so relaxed and thanked Mom with her eyes. Mom says it's her way of "paying forward".
Hope my friends know someone who has this talent.
I think we need to get Mom's hands insured. They are magic.

Mom has seen a lot of Boston Terriers that have spots on their white fur. But I never had any until about a year ago. Mom thinks it was the medicine I was given (prednisone) for my irritable bowel syndrome. Luckily I'm off that now. Nasty stuff. Anyway, Mom was giving me a chest rub this morning (it was heaven) and she noticed that all the spots are gone. Is that weird. Has that happened to anyone else. Or as Quigley pointed out Mom doesn't give us a bath in the winter maybe it's just all covered up? Any ideas?
It was so cold today when Mom went out shopping, she said she had to stop at the flower shop just to see something that looked like Spring. It perked her right up until she had to leave the shop and get back in the 10 below temp.
I've been kind of trembling so Mom put my gray hoody on and it's staying on until I snuggle under the covers with Mom tonight. She doesn't know if I do that because I'm cold or anxious. She does worry about me.
