Arrival Story:
A friend of ours was fostering (with intent to adopt) Daisy (then Debbie) from the same rescue that we adopted Penny from. It wasn't working out with her and we decided to give her a try and decided to keep her. We got her on October 29, 2008.

Bio:
Daisy came from a puppy mill in South Dakota. It had been shut down and some great dog lovers down there sent out urgent e-mails to many dog resuces, including some in Canada. These dogs were going to be put to sleep if they didn't find homes or rescues to take them. The rescue that we adopted Penny from took four dogs (Daisy, her sister and 2 Doxies) into their care. Daisy had been in 4 foster homes and been with the rescue for months before we took her in. No body wanted her, poor thing. But we don't know why. =]
