Bio:
Keeta's a shelter dog. The shelter's as good to her as it can be and all the volunteers love her, but still... she's in a kennel. She doesn't like being caged, so barks ferociously at all the potential adopters. No one wants to take her out, but if they did, they'd see the youngest seven year old ever.

Happy Happy Hugo

Hugo, one of the dogs I shared the humane society kennels with, is finally getting to go home. It's not his forever home, but a trainer who wants to help him work on his "issues" and then help him find it.

I'm so happy for him! Good luck, Hugo. I love you, even if I didn't act so lady-like at the shelter.

Wags and licks to you!

Yesterday, two very special people came looking for an "older" dog. I'm a bit offended, really (I don't act old, at least!), but they were so nice I didn't care.

And tonight...

I'm going home!

Thank you so much to the volunters and staff at the shelter, and all of you here on Dogster who have sent me your best wishes.

I hope I can be good and they keep me forever and ever... I love the guys at the shelter, but I don't want to come back.

Home, home, home; it's such a wonderful word!

Long Time, No Write

Sorry for the lack of entries. I've been at the vet for weeks.

That's right: yet another ear infection.

Still, it seems to have healed up alright this time, and, quite frankly, I liked the vet's office. Quieter than the shelter, at least, though I did miss my volunteer friends. One of them came to visit me, though, so I guess that was okay.

So here I am again, back at the shelter... Doesn't anybody love me?
