Arrival Story: Being the "dogless" dog lover of the family - I had been wanting to get a dog for some time. And finally after alot of thought and looking on the net, I found a wonderful breeder about an hour away from home. Six cute little girls were born to a happy and proud Naomi. Of course, I was going to just look and then think about it. (Right.....) But, I couldn't resist. It's always hard to pick which one. But, she actually picked me. That was it - Enya was brought home @ 9 weeks, where she has had complete control ever since! Of course, she's spoiled beyond belief. Very intelligent and affectionate and loves everyone. That's my baby!

Bio: I'm proud that Enya comes from registered European champion bloodline. But, that was not the reason we bought her. It was just reassuring enough to know that she's got good genes. We promised to keep in touch with the breeder. And on our visit over the holidays, they were so proud of her development and strong features, I've been convinced to let her participate in a Spring dog show. And although I'm not particulary a fanatic of dog shows, I'm excited to see how she'll do.

Hi everyone :-)
It's been quite a while since I sent anything to my diary. I'll make sure that mommie keeps up to date from now on. But, to keep it short and sweet - Life has been good. I'm a grown up now! Lots of things have been going on. I'm not friends with Bennie anymore - he had to GO! But, he has a new sister to keep him company, so I'm sure he won't miss me. My grammy came to visit in January - boy, that was lots of FUN! Grrrrrr..... And since yesterday, well - I have my very own sister. (She has her own page too). I'm not really thrilled about it. I can't eat because I think she'll take my food. But, I am nosy and want to know where she is - like EVERY second. I guess, most other doggies would say maybe I'm jealous. Okay, I admit it. I've been the one and only around here, it's not fun seeing mommie and daddy playing with her. But, I think I'll have to get used to it. Sharing my toys and all.....

I've been in training (at mommy's request) since June. Mommy has taken it upon herself to "get me under control"..... WHATEVER THAT MEANS! All I'm interested in is getting my goodie when I do as told. For awhile a nice lady came to our house after mommy and daddy came home from work. She was cool - but, was more into showing up with a hang-over and over-charging mommy. That didn't last long! In the meantime, I had an operation - I got fixed. Mom was afraid that I'd be mad and never forgive her - but, I'm okay. SHE thought it would be well, not easy but, as doctor's like to say "routine". But, she was upset from the minute she had to leave me at the clinic. And picking me up later on that day and seeing me looking the way I was - didn't help. It was kind of bad for a couple of days - I just slept, didn't want any food OR water and got sick a couple of times. But, everything is fine now. So, now that I'm back to my bad-spoiled self, I'm back to the "training field". I can roll over, sit up, give five and well... kind of bark on command. But, most importantly, I learned how to tell mommy that I'm extremely hungry. A couple of nips at her ankle and some vicious growling gets her hopping. (And SHE thinks she's training ME). Next month I get to go and get a haircut again. People keep on making fun of me because my hair's so short. But, they don't realize that all kinds of creepy-crawlers like to hide on me - when possible. This is the last one for this year. I keep on changing colors every two months - nobody knows what I'll turn out to be.

Mommy has been so busy that she hasn't been keeping up like she used to. (Well, I should say, I've been keeping her busy - that is). I've been through doggie school to brush up on my manners. I guess I could quit giving mom and dad so much grief (I'm hard-headed and a terrier, what do they expect?) They were finally able to get a couple of pictures of that rascal, Bennie. He's my daddy's brother's dog. We've become really good pals, I even let him share my toys - sometimes.
