Yesterday I had two fatty lumps removed. The vet found that I have 11 lumps! That is 2 more than mom thought I had. But he only removed two, not because they were cancerous but because they were in funny places that may cause problems if left to grow bigger. One from my pawpit and one on my spine. I am so BALD now :( Someone said I looked like a robot dog (the bald square patch being my control panel.) I think maybe I can wear a square patch of brown carpet or astro turf until my hair grows back. BOL.

I have also been limping off and on lately (usually after running) so while I was asleep, the vet also took xrays of my legs. My hips are great but my front elbows are not so good. The xrays show I have elbow dysplasia so I will be needing a course of injections to help strengthen my joints. I will start getting my injections next Thursday when my stitches for my lumps come out. I have still been very active though, in fact the vet says I have to try and slow down, that means a change of lifestyle - less ball chasing, no running downhill, no jumping but MORE swimming which I love!

I was feeling rather poorly yesterday after my anaesthesia, the vet said I was delirious and howled a lot so I had to be sedated until mom came to collect me :( I was sooo happy to see her I threw myself into the car before she could help me. I feel MUCH better today :)

I just started getting lumps, too! I have two, but we had them both checked and they were just fatty tissue, no cancer..shew!
Mine are on my belly so no worries for me. Mom & dad were both so nervous about them so had to get 'em checked.

Hang in there buddy. Life changes aren't all bad. I've made it to 16 years old being lazy. But if your like my half sis, Diamond, the world would stop spinning without a chance of chasing her ball.
