Arrival Story:
Ever since I was really young I have always wanted a dog. So I begged my parents every chance I got, and finnally, when I was old enough to prove I was responsible enough, my parents let me get a dog. It's really exciting. Before I decided I wanted a Shetland Sheepdog I read lots of books. Shelties weren't my first pick, Siberian Huskies where. Except, well, Siberian Huskies have a tendenciy to eat cats. So I googled some dog breeders in my area and found Akira.

*Yawn*
I'm quite bored today. Usually I have something else to do other than write a dog diary.
So I looked out my window to see the cold outside world. It looked so tempting and clear out there.
Inside we are kept in a little pen, but of course we have some time outside to wear off our puppy energy.
I can sense something different today with my owner's energy. She is waiting for something, and she is accepting the conciquences. But she seems to have mixed feelings. Both happy, and sad.
I couldn't excatly find what was bothering her, so I started to bark at her, hoping that she would come closer.
She looks at me and turns away. Great.
My brothers and sisters started to bark at her. They demanded her for an explenation in every bark. But it was like she couldn't understand what we were asking when we were barking. It was so annoying.
I started pushing my face through the pen. I couldn't get more than the tip on my sbout out, and I clawed at the newspapers below me.
I let out a pathetic whine, usually it gets the attention of my target.
It did get her attention, but right away there was an energy switch. She was quite unpleased by my actions, and was starting to get furious.
She walked in a hurried pace over to us and snapped her fingers and said, "No!"
I cringed my head out of the pen and looked at her in surprise. She had never done that sort of thing to me like that. Usually I was able to react with a playful stance, but this time, I was taken completly by surprise.
"What the heck is the matter with her? Can't she see it's bothering us?" the smallest of my sisters barked softly.
We all agreed with a friendly bark back.
Bored, I went over to the food dish and started chomping on my 'Pro Plan Puppy Food'.
I can't really discribe how it tastes like. It was so unique, and wonderful. It was like eating clouds doused with chicken.
After having a full stomach, I went pack to barking at my owner. My littermates joined me in a chorus of different barks and whines.
Her temper was starting to run thin. We knew that she didn't like it when we talked too much. Her mother must have never taught her to be social.
We continued to bark until the sound of a slaming door caught our attention.

Wow, it's seems like forever since I've seen my owner.
It's been around 4 weeks, and the first time that I saw her, I was shivering in fear the whole time.
But my owner saw through that, and even though I was in a competition against my other sister, who found a home as well. My other sister was smaller, much cuter, had wonderful markings.
My other other sister was adopted by an older lady, I can tell even now that there is going to be problems. She was so energetic, and she was only 4 weeks old!
My owner doesn't know much about me yet, just enough to keep her from being to excited.
Only a few more days until I leave Rolling Hills. I will miss it, I'll be scared. But it will be worth it.
