Arrival Story:
Bandit came to us via an animal shelter. At the time he was three years old. His original owners were abusive leaving him tied up in an apartment while she went away on vacations. Bandit soon became a service dog who predicted low / high blood sugars... He knows when I am upset and immediatly places himself on my lap to comfort me. At one point when I was in the store with my daughter, Bandit began barking trying to alert about my sugar being low, at the same time my daughter's dog Hildie pulled my daughter over to where I was located in the store...Both forced me to sit while my daughter got me some juice and a muffin...Immediately both dogs calmed down.
I got sick and my mom took me to the Vet and he I have a twisted gutt and it would cost way to much for my mom to pay for it and the vet said it may not work any ways. So I am over to the rainrow bridge. I can see my MOM is so upset and crying all the time but I am still with her and she doesn't know it I had a talk just before I went over and told my brother Hoaggie to watch very closely at my MOM she needs it now. Good bye to all my friends.
Bio:
At present day, he will alert to people coming to the door. He still alerts to my sugar issues.
