Views From My New Home

Vacations............

We I have to tell you all my latest experience. It was really strange.
Mom and dad took myself, Sitka and Bunky for a car ride.
We came to this new place (for me anyway) where they took
us all away from mom & dad and put us in these runs right
next to each other. There were lots of other dogs there too.
Everyone was barking and carrying on. I was terrified!!
Why did mom & dad leave us here? What did I do wrong?
Please come back, I'll be good. I promise. These people
were okay, I guess. They gave us food every day and
cleaned up after us. But I didn't like it, I barked and barked
and barked. Finally in what must have been forever, they
put our leashes back on us and took us outside of the runs
back through the doors we came in. Lo and behold.....it
was mom & dad, they came back for me (us). Yay!!
God answered my prayers, I got my family back. They
were so happy to see us too. We were all so happy to be
together again. We got back in the car and went home.
I got my yard back, my (their) bed back...life is good once
again. The only thing I am waiting to get back is my voice.
Apparently, I barked so much I lost my voice. It is getting
better every day, but man I don't ever want to do that again.
I noticed I'm sleeping better too. Very noisy place this
"kennel" I hope I don't have to go there again any time soon.

This my first entry in my diary. I just wanted
to say how happy I am with my new home.
They say "third time's the charm" and it's so
true. This is my third home to be in and
I know now it will be my forever home. I
don't know why my other 2 homes didn't
work out, but I know my new mom and dad
love me very much. It was hard on them when
I came (they had recently lost their Kodiak and
were very sad) But I make them laugh and smile again.
I know that was why I was sent here, I needed a
forever home and they needed to help mend their
broken hearts. It's win, win!
So I'm very happy, I have a big yard to run and
play in, lots and lots of toys, a brother (Bunky)
and sister (Sitka) and a cat (Misty) and a mom
and dad who love me very much. How blessed
I am for sure.
