Arrival Story:
After the leader of our pack, Tazz, passed over the rainbow bridge, I happened to visit with the president of the Humane Society. She told me about an elderly man who had 45 dogs, 10 of them pregnant, all recently impounded by Animal Control. Many of them had to be euthanized. Blu's mom had 3 of her own pups, & adopted a pup from a mom who had died. His mom was then named mother Mary by the Humane Society. She & her pups had to be treated for Giardia, & she had malnutrition, but all seem a lot better now.

Bio:
He's been called a Shepherd mix, but we're not sure -- guess we'll see when he grows up! Just got back DNA results -- no Shepherd! Alaskan Malamute, Brittney, and Entlebucher! (descendents of the Roman Mastiff "War-dogs" which they took across the Alps.)
