Hello Everyone

My Days!

Well, I have not written in my diary in a while, probably because still being a pup, mom loves to play! Let me see if I can recap the last few weeks.

It all started when mom thought she could keep me behind a 42 inch gate all day. At first I did fine, it wasn't so bad, I have a large bathroom to hang out in, lots of toys, it can't be that bad I chose to sleep in there every night. Well, mom said I had to have this surgery, I think she called it spay. So she brought me to the doc, he gave me this stuff and I slept for a while when I woke up, I had no fur on my belly. Mom felt so bad, she took the week off to stay home with me. I think with all the stress of my surgery, mom ended up with the flu. I was not feeling too good to take care of her, so her being the good mom she took care of me. Then one day mom was so tired, she fell asleep. I thought I would let her sleep and decided to entertain myself. Since this is my 1st Christmas, the tree and decorations around it looked like a lot of fun. So I played with a few, there were these little people, a lion, tin man, scarecrow and girl, oh and a little dog. I started to chew on them then they all broke, I tried to put them back together before mom woke up, but it didn't happen. Mom wasn't upset, she just was happy I didn't eat any of the parts.

By Sunday, I was so happy, mom has been with me day and night, now she decided that she had to go somewhere, so she placed me behind my gate and left. I missed her so, I jumped over the gate, but mom was not there, I was in her bedroom and the door was closed. So I decided I would clean up the bedroom for her, I cleared off the dresser and pulled up the carpet. Because I wanted it to be a surprise, I jumped back over the gate and waited for moms excitement when she got home and saw what a good job I did. I was disappointed, she wasn’t that excited, she just sat on the bed and looked around, didn’t even say I did a good job. Now she puts up another gate on top of the 42 inch gate so I can’t get out again.

Mom went back to work the next day. Then Friday came and mom took me with her when she left the house. I thought for sure I was going back to the doctor. I was wrong, I went to this place where there were strange dogs and this nice lady, all these dogs were barking. Mom left me there, the nice lady wanted to play with me but I kept wondering if mom was coming back. She did, I was so glad to see her. When we got in the car she told me that I would be going back next week. I wasn’t too sure I wanted to, I had to think about it.

The next day, mom was home again, and she took me to my Grandma’s birthday party. I had so much fun, there was this little dog, a yorkie my mom said it was, and we played. I hope I will be able to see her again.

Monday came along and mom had to go back to work she said, so she left me again. I was bored and my room was smelling a little, so I saw mom had this nice smelling stuff in a bottle on the window sill, so I decided to spill it. Good thing I did, the house smells so good now. When mom got home and saw what I did, she said I was going to doggy day care.

I left with her this morning and went back to that place with the strange dogs. Those boy dogs weren’t there, and I was so happy, it was just me and another girl, except she didn’t want to play. Then this new doggy came in and he wanted to play! I was so happy, so was mom, because she was watching me on the computer.

Now because of all my excitement today, I am real tied, I think it is time for bed. I will hopefully write again real soon.

Hello Everyone

My name is Maggie and I have a new mom, who only after 2 days just love. She has given me so many toys, I have met new friends, and have a new home with a big bed to sleep in. But I do have a strange sister, not so sure of her, mom won't let me play with her, she is afraid I might hurt her, I am only 8months, and still am all puppy. I just brought most of my toys into bed with us, you are never sure if you wake up and just have to play! Mom was happy to get me since she was really missing Sara, I think I have helped her not to think too much about the void that Sara left. Mom was very sad, but now that I am here, she is to busy watching me to be sad. Mom told me that she loves me, and I love her. I missed her today, she had to go to work and left me home, I was glad when she walked through that door and gave me hugs and kisses. Well got to go for now, getting sleepy.
