Arrival Story:
Gracie is a humane society rescue. Her previous owners couldn't afford vet care and when she got fleas, which she is very allergic to, they left her out on a screen in porch with not much food or water. She lost a lot of fur and developed mange. She was taken from them Dec 1, 2007. I got her as a foster on January 19,2008. She is an absolute joy. Very smart and very active but very willing to please. We worked hard on getting her healthy which took several months. On March 1, 2008 the vets at the humane society cleared her to be adopted and she officially became my girl.
