He can sit, speak and fetch, and also tends to hog tie anyone he can with his rope.
Arrival Story:
Raska was a shelter dog. My parents had just lost their new dog of only 3 months (he didn't look before he crossed the road), and my Mom was grieving. My Dad took her for a drive one day, and they ended up at the Animal Shelter. All the dogs came and sniffed my Dad's hands, but this little one was so excited to see Dad that he "nearly turned himself inside out" as my Dad put it. Mom was still upset, but his little face haunted her. A week later, they went back to the shelter to get him. He's been spoiled ever since.
Bio:
My parents were told at the shelter that Raska was Jack Russell, mixed with another breed. They had no idea. And they said that he came from a nearby family, who got rid of him because he was too hyper (that makes me mad)... My father is a long-haul truck driver, and he was in Texas at a truck stop, when this van pulled up and had Jack Russell Breeders on the side. He figured they'd know what Raska was mixed with to make his coloring... He told the lady about him, and she got a funny look on her face... and went to the truck and brought out a spitting image of Raska. It was his sister. He found out that he was a new full breed, Jack Russell/Border Terrier... and he found out his birthday (the same day as mine, actually).
So Raska came from Texas.
