7 Things About Shiloh!

Here are my 7 facts!

-I am a Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue pup.
-My foster parents fell in ruv with me and now their home is my furever home.
-I ruv wrestling with my big brother Bailey.
-For a rittle guy, I have a big bark! Arroooo!!
-I can't wait to meet my Aunt Pebbles at Christmas!
-I like to stand on tables to make myself big.
-I ruv my TT, Daddy and brother Bailey more than chew toys because they are giving me a second chance!

R-I'm R-orry

Last night I found this new toy under the sink cabinet. I thought it was for me. It was green and yellow and squishy and in a plastic bag. So I took it out to play with it. Bailey was trying to get it from me so I hid behind one of the end tables near the couch. My mommy came and told me I couldn't have it and she tried to take it from me. I thought she was going to give it to Bailey so I bit her hand. She said it hurt real bad and she made me go in my crate.
I didn't mean to hurt you, Mommy. I just really wanted to play with the new toy. I'm sorry. Please don't be mad at me. I will never do it again. I promise.

A quick little "arroo" from the floppy-eared dog!

The family at the dog park didn't adopt me, they adopted Lucas. They seemed nice, but now I get to stay with my buddy Bailey..... well, now I can call him my brother Bailey!
This weekend TT.... I mean, my new mom..... took me and Bailey to this store. There were other dogs and lots of treats and toys. I was in heaven! But I could only get one toy so I got myself a Kong. Bailey has one, and now I have one of my own! I got a bath later that day, and I spent the rest of the day tearing apart my dog bed, wrestling with Bailey, learning a new trick (down), and sleeping.
How exhausting!

My foster parents told me that they want to adopt me. I would love to stay with them. But then TT found out that there is a lady coming all the way from the other side of Florida to see me tomorrow at the adoption event. TT is very sad. She told me that whatever happens she will always love me.

"Moooo...." said the Beagle

Brrrr!! My paws were awfully cold this morning when I took TT on a walk.
Last night we all went for a walk by this big field. There were cows and they were staring at me! Bailey wanted to round them up in a circle. I heard one of them say "Moo" so I told them "Arrroooo!" I must've told them whose boss because they all went running away! Scaredy-cows!
Humans have such simple minds. My humans, TT and Jerrod, get all excited when I sit my butt on the ground.... they give me a treaet everytime I do it. If only I could teach them to give me all of Bailey's treats.... Hmmmm....

Snow inside the house?!

I found a new dog bed!! And it's in Bailey's crate! It's a huge big comfy cushion and I'm taking it over! I went in there yesterday afternoon to try it (Bailey is always woofing about how comfortable it ), and I fell right to sleep. There is even snow inside of the cushion! If you dig (like you dig when you're burying a bone) all this snow comes flying out of if! It's awesome! I just rolled around in it. Bailey just looked at me and said "woof...." and TT picked it up an threw it away. Boooo. That's okay, I'll dig for some more tonight!
This weekend I got to go to the field to play THREE TIMES!! Me and Bailey run around in the tall grass and I sniff around for stuff. Bailey watches out for me. When I wandered to far away he came running up and herded me back to my family. He's such a good big foster brother! Yesterday there was another dog in the field with his human. I was so excited that I ran up to say "Arroo!" He wasn't too happy. He was a big dog, bigger than Bailey. I kept "woofing" at him, but he just gave me mean looks. Bailey came and told me it was alright, but that I shouldn't run so far away from our humans like that anymore. I felt sorry, but I just wanted to say "Arroo" to the dog!
The humans keep trying to put this black and white costume on me.... I think they called it a skunk. They have a matching one for Bailey. Grrrrr, I don't want no skunk on me! They think it's so cute putting costumes on us dogs, but I'll show them! Next time, I will chew it to pieces!
That's all for now! I have a long night ahead of me..... walking, eating, sleeping and watching the Rays!

Adventures in Shiloh-land

I'm really loving my foster family. Bailey, my foster buddy and "king of the house" as he calls himself, was a bully to me at first. He wouldn't let me play with any of his toys! He thought that just because he was bigger than me he can boss me around. Well, now that I have been there for over a week, I showed HIM who's boss! TT (that's what I call my foster mom) brought home lots of toys for us to play with, so now when Bailey tries to take one of MY toys I show him. We wrestle, and play, and run around together. Bailey even taught me how to play tug-of-war.
Yesterday, Bailey, TT and Jerrod (my foster dad) went over to the big field near our house. I was able to explore in the big grassy jungle and there were all sorts of interesting smells! Me and Bailey played tag and ran all over the place. It was so cool! But Bailey always is trying to herd me and tell me where to go. Those darn Border Collies, always running around me in a circle. But he takes good care of me and keeps that Border Collie eye out for me. I was about to wander into the woods because I thought I smelled a rabbit, but Bailey stopped me and told me that it wasn't a good idea - there could be lots of scary animals in there.
