Arrival Story:
Bonnie is from Animal Control -we adopted her 2 days after Christmas when she was about 3 months old --it was below 30 degrees at night with only a bare lightbulb hung low for heat in an open air shelter. She has an extreme overbite that needed dental surgery as a pup but she is fine & healthy now:) Her puppy teeth were cutting into the roof her mouth. Her second teeth thankfully grew in slanted outward so she is comfortable & kept all her teeth! She now has an unusual but beautiful smile! When they were little I always called to them as "puppies" & to this day Bonnie will respond better to "Puppies" rather than her name:))
Bio:
Bonnie came crawling on her belly outside with her brother Clyde when we asked to see them--they were fearful but friendly & wanted so much to trust. They were filthy & smelled so bad we had to leave the windows open for the 2 hour trip home. We stopped along the way to get puppy shampoo & the first thing they got was a bath! Bonnie is a gentle, timid sweetheart who loves to snuggle & will wrap her arms around you in a hug. I give her body massages to help her relax & she loves it:)
