Arrival Story:
Athena and her Brother Running Bear (Bear now deceased ): were rescued from the gassing shelter in Lancaster SC on August 28, 2008 when they were around 8 weeks old, Running Bear died of Parvo in September it hit him hard and fast, I was able to save Athena so she is a Parvo survivor and a real love bug.
She is up for adoption now, she has first and second shots and been wormed, still got to get her rabies from the vet.
Athena is looking for her Furever Home, she hopes she will find someone that would love to have a Lab/Husky mix Pup, very smart, loving and has ONE BLUE EYE AND ONE BROWN EYE
her eyes are amazing.
She plays and gets along with all dogs big and/or small old or young, she loves adults and kids.
Maybe Santa Paw will get Athena a home before Christmas, she went through alot when she was so small but is now healthy as a horse and loves to eat and wants her furever family
