Arrival Story:
Emmie was a rescue & had several homes but was returned repeatedly due to her issues. We kept her:) Emmie is always happy, energetic, confident & up for anything! Extremely athletic & high energy, high prey drive--she is 55 lbs. of bounce:) Through the years, as much as we've tried to discourage it, she has caught squirrels, rats, possums, turtles, birds & snakes. She adores puppies & keeps everyone in line. She loves everyone she meets & if you're not careful she'll plant one right on your lips:)
Bio:
Emmie is our alpha dog & we don't know her real age but it isn't slowing her down at all. She is a mighty hunter too. This is a dog who would survive in the wild-she can dig a "den", catch her dinner & wear out a puppy. She is also a very determined licker--she could also lick the bark off a tree:) Her favorite place to sleep is right next to me.
