Arrival Story:
Josie was once OJoe. I had been looking for a companion for my other golden-Katie. I have had 2 dogs before and knew they would keep each other company. My next door neighbor worked at a day care on a military base and knew of a family moving to San Antone and were not able to take their dog. Josie was 10 months old -she no longer was that cute puppy and the family could not give the dog away. They even included all leashes, bowls, and brushes. Josie was already spayed and was up on all shots. Well...when my husband and I saw her we knew we could not let her go. The family had left her in their old hse while they were moving and we went to the hse and saw her in a room by herself...she was very lonely. And now 6 yrs later we know we did right by her. She is a very good girl...she never dug, never chewed and at first did not bark...but as the yrs have gone by she does whine and sometimes barks. We do not have children and she was around a young child but she does not seem to miss children. I will never regret getting Josie-she has added so much to our lives.
