SNOW!

I love the snow! It snowed a lot at my house yesterday. I love to go outside and hop like a bunny. Mom and Dad took me down the woods with all my friends and our neighbors. So, Fuzzy Bailey, Kona, Cody and I all went down the big hill to the creek. The people took so long to get down the hill. We got to run and jump and play 'chase me' down there. I love to be off my leash! Then, we checked out our creek- part of it was stiff- kind of. Fuzzy Bailey and Cody fell through and got their legs wet. I just stayed on the snow. I'm not that brave, you know. Then we went home and had a mid day sleepover with Fuzzy Bailey and Cody. We all took a nap in my house together after playing in the snow in the backyard. I love to catch snowballs. And then, Kona came over and we played some more in the snow. I hope the snow stays forever!

A TRIP!

Last weekend I went to Virginia to visit with my cousins, Lakota and Nika. Mommy says I am very good in the car. I do not try to drive and I sleep almost the whole time. While we were there, I played and played with my cousins and I got to meet a new cousin, Rudy the cat! I know Mom was a little nervous at first, but I liked Rudy. His tail is so interesting! He didn't like it when I kept knocking over his bed -while he was still in it! A dog's gotta check things out, you know. I got to go for a walk on the Huckleberry Trail. I got to see lots of bikes and runners. But crossing the bridge scares me. I slink across it because I'm not sure about it. Then it snowed a little there! I love the snow! We played and played outside - 'chase me' is my favorite game. When it was time to leave, Lakota and Nika were so worn out, they just couldn't play anymore. They needed a recharge.

Merry Christmas to All!

Merry Christmas!!
I had a great Christmas this year! First, I *knew* it was Christmas and I woke up mom and Dad by running and sliding onto the bed (they have the satin sheets on this week) and gave them wake up kisses. Then, we all went downstairs and I got to eat (yay!) and then we opened presents. Mom got me a picture frame album for all the pictures of my friends, a road kill toy (it's flat and has no stuffing) and a bumble ball. Dad got me a laser pointer and an action ball. Fuzzy Bailey and Cody got me some gourmet treats and I gave them treats and personalized doggie ornaments. But Grandma and Poppy and Seamus really spoiled me. They gave me a whole big bag full of presents. When Mom looked outside the next morning, she thought it had snowed, because I had carefully disarmed (dislegged and disheaded too) the rope monkey. Kona and I played outside Christmas night and barked a 'Merry Christmas' to anyone we saw.
