Time to Fly

Time to fly, or atleast drive. Finally I have the opportunity to get my learner's permit. In South Carolina you have to be fifteen to have a driver's license, well guess what day it is.!!! One sec, I have a piece of cake to eat....

what the.... this is crap! I can't believe that this is happening to me. Apparently you have to be fifteen and human. What discrimination! Now I find out that a fifteen year old dog is considered past her prime. Well I will show you all. (Insert my diabolical laugh!)

Ahh Spring! It is the time every dog waits for. My parents spend more time outside which means I spend more time outside, in the park, and going for walks. Today we spent time in the baseball field and now she is working on her pond. She says that she has to get the plants stabelized first before the my fish can live in it. I am so excited to have pets of my very own. I can't wait to be a mom. I will hug them and kiss them. Now if only I can find a way to eat them and still come out smelling like roses.Don't be so shocked; I mean I am a retrieving water dog!!

The Polar Bears Club

So this past weekend mom and pop took me to my friend Jensen's house. Well everything started off great, I sniffed her and she sniffed me. Then we sniffed the yard. Its fun because they have moles in their yard and Jensen and I have the upper paw because we have sight. However this ability has yet to aid us in the catching of the moles.
But I digress...after some sniffing I make my way over to the pond. Now some would call me crazy because we had just spent two days in an ice-storm but I wanted to live a little. So I got this idea from a TV special on artic animals and figured if a bear and do it then so can I.
The next thing I know, mom and pop are running outside to get me out of the pond and then giving me a bath! Now you tell me when the last time you saw a polar bear get a bath. It was humiliating. I tell ya, I gotta get my own place!
