Arrival Story:
HI, My name is Bodhi. I was dumped in LaTuna Canyon, California by my owners. I don't know why...I wondered the canyon for weeks. Because I am a Koriean Jindo, I adapted enough to survive, but started to get tired and be very hungry. So one day, I decided to go up this long driveway where there were horses and dogs and people. A girl saw me from her window as I came upt he drive. She thought I was a coyote at first. Ii was very very shy, and hid in the bushes. She came out and gave me food and water. I was too afraid to eat out int he open. So I ate under the bush.... There was a big pack of dogs at this ranch. One was a German Shepard who hated me. He tried to beat me up. Then another dog, Boomer, who lived with the girl cam eand saved me and took me to her house. We became a family. I was covered in ticks and alot of my hari was gone from malnution. The girl fed me and let me sleep in her bed with Boomer. I would follow her to her horse's stall everyday, and sleep in the comfy shavings while she cleaned the stall and fed the horsie. I had alot of seperation anxiety. One day, I crashed through the second floor window and landed on the ground to go and find my new mommie. I finallycalmed down when I knew this was my forever home. We have sinced moved a couple times, and now live in a very safe and beautiful home. I became the pack leader, and I have a family of 5 other dogs. I take my position very seriously and am good at it. At night, I sleep with my mommie, with my arms around her. I love her very much. I have a very happy life now. By the way, I am in love with a chihuahua named Stellaluna Hua. And.... "if lovin you is wrong....I don't wanna be right"......
