Arrival Story:
This was definitely an out of the blue experience. A woman I did not even know called me out of the blue. Similar to Mishy's situation, she wanted to find a good home for Gabby. The woman told me she went back to work and was having to leave her in a crate all day. She said she felt so bad about that. I ask her how did you find me, she said she called the vets office and ask if they knew anyone that would like to have Gabby. The vet gave her my number, we met the next day and I picked her up. I was fearful of how she would act in a new environment. When I got home I sat her down and it did not phase her at all that she was in a new place. She acted as if she had been living here all along. She was so excited she kept tinkling on herself. Another thing that happened that was funny was the woman told me she was not house broke. I did not have a problem with that, I think she went to the bathroom maybe twice inside. Then when she started remembering the doggy door she started going outside on her own. It was as if she potty trained her own self. Gabby has been with since December and boy is she full of life.
