MY 7TH BIRTHDAY IS FAST APPROACHING...

It's that time of year again, my Birthday is the 28th of April and I'll be 7 years old. Woof, time really does fly by!! I've figured out by now that I'll ALWAYS BE momma's "BABY BIG BOY", but that's okay, as long as there's 'big boy' in there somewhere, BOL!! I've had an ear issue lately, the doctor thinks it's a dog food allergy, after 3 visits to my regular vet, mom took me to anther vet for a second opinion and things are looking very good now. I'm on hypoallergenic food and treats, but every once in awhile I still turn my nose up at the food, so mom gives in and cooks me up a little something like chicken (my favorite). I hear the word "spoiled" a lot, but somehow I think that's a good thing. I keep trying to convince mom that regular dog food is for chumps anyway, but she's not buying it....can't blame a guy for trying though, I do love my real chicken and beef when I can get it. Anyway....Spring is here, Summer is on the way and LIFE IS GOOD!!!

Spring is Near!!!

Spring is just around the corner, time for Mom to finally put away my winter Parka, YIPEEEEE!! This morning mom gave me a full pedicure, brushing and brushed my teeth, then we went for a nice long walk and the weather outside was just beautiful! Mom keeps trying to take some new pics of me, but every time she gets me lined up in the lens, I move....oh well mom, keep trying, BOL!! :) I'm so happy that the weather is warming up, that means more and more time outside, which I just love!! Yesterday mom and I went down to the beach where I ran all over the place and stopped only long enough to listen to the seagulls. Mom calls me her "fly boy" because I fly all over the place when we're on the beach, it really is my favorite place because I can run all over and not bump into anything! I will try to stop long enough for mom to take some new pics of me soon, wish me luck with that, BOL!!

THANK YOU DOGSTER!!!

My family and I just want to say Thank You Dogster for making me today's "Diary of the Day" on DOGSTER!!! We love Dogster and are greatful for all of our wonderful Dogster friends. Also want to give a huge BARK OUT to all of my PAWSOME PUP PALS!! And by the way yesterday was my grooming day, mom clipped the hair on my paws, trimmed my nails, brushed, combed, bathed and dried me. Now I'm ready for anything.....who knew....BOL!! Thank you Dogster!! WOOFS & WAGS!!!!

AT THE BEACH 10/8/09

Mom and I went to the beach today, WOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!! What fun!!! I ran all over the place and we had the beach almost all to ourselves, except for two new little friends that I met, both came running down to meet me, Darla and Mimi, two cuties and both smaller than me (I like that). Hopefully, next time mom will bring the video camera. What mom did post here today, is a pic of me napping on the bed when we got home, while she's on the computer.

June 15, 2009 - Aunty Jay brought me 2 bones

Aunty Jay came over on Monday and brought me two delicious bones :), aunty gave me one and mom put the other one away for another time. I like to hide my bones around the house for awhile before I actually start working on them. I always think my kitty brother and sister, Moe and Koko will try to get them from me, so I take hiding my bones very seriously. First I hid the bone in my basket/bed under the cushion, in the kitchen, next, I hid it in a little nook in the bathroom between the tub and the vanity, (mom took a picture of me guarding it there and posted it here on Dogster), later I took all the toys on one side of my toy basket out, and pushed the bone into the bottom of the toy basket, then nuzzeled all the other toys over it (it was really well hidden then) and at the end of the day I finally pulled out the bone, and began enjoying it. Wherever I hide my bone, I usually sit by the hiding spot on guard, just to be extra careful. Mom keeps assuring me that the cats don't want my bone, but my feeling on that is, you just can't be too careful.

PLAYING CATCH WITH PAPA April 25, 2009

Playing catch with papa in the yard is one of my favorite things! Where I am blind, people are always amazed! Papa (or mama) tells me to, "go get ready" and I know the layout of the yard so well, I know just what to do. I sit with my ears perked and listen for papa to roll the ball along the grass and I'm all over it. Papa claps so I can return the ball to him and we start all over again...and I just love it! Mama took a video of us and she posted it here for all my friends. Woofs, Wags and Pommie Hugs!! Catch you later.

March, 2009 Back to the Beach

Well the snow is finally all gone here, and Mommy and I are back to our beach walks, meeting up with auntie C.J., Chance and Angel. This was our first beach walk of the season and mom took pics and has posted them here on my page. Auntie C. J. is the best, always giving us little treats! Chance and Angel were so happy to see us when auntie pulled up to the beach in her jeep, it sounded like a kennel full of barking dogs were with her and Chancie and Angel jumped out and bounded up to greet me. Mommy and Auntie just laughed. Well, it's great that we're getting into Spring now, that means we'll be outdoors lots more (which I just love)! Happy Spring Everyone!!

The 2008 HOLIDAYS.....

Well, my HOLIDAYS were GREAT!! We had all kinds of company and I love all the attention that I get!!! There were all kinds of wonderful presents under the tree for me, Moe and Koko. My friend Chance also came by on Christmas Eve, he went right ahead and made himself very comfortable on MY sofa...I was a little surprised at that, but he's my friend, so I let it go (not to mention he's considerably bigger than I am). Now we're into the New Year and it's very cold and been very snowy here too! Mom puts my jacket and boots on though and off we go...I LOVE THE SNOW!! Mom plans to get some pics of me in the snow soon, then we'll post them, so everyone can see what I'm talking about, brrrrrrrrrrr. I want to wish all of my pup pals and all my friends on dogster and catster a very Happy New Year!!

1. I break dance and leap when Mom comes home from the office.

4. I love going to the beach to meet up with Chance and Angel. I let Mom get about 60 feet away from me, then when she says, "where's my baby?" I home in on her voice and race toward her at the speed of light!

5. Every night while dad eats dinner, I run and get one of my choo cha loos and wait for him to finish, so we can play "try to get my choo cha loo". I sit waiting patiently with it in my mouth, then he chases me around the house trying to get it, but I always win. Once I tire him out I always get a belly rub.

Celebrating Sammy's 2nd Birthday

My friend Sammy turned two on October 20,2008, so we had a little birthday party for him. Sammy and his sister Sasha came over with their family and we all sang Happy Birthday, and enjoyed a special cake they had made up specially for Sammy. Actually, I decided Sammy didn't need as much birthday cake as he had, so I helped myself to some of his (as well as my own), so he took his and went under the table to finish it, Wow, was it yummy!! There's a pic of the three of us enjoying it in my photo album. Happy Birthday Sammy!!
