Arrival Story:
Well let's see, it must have been meant to be. I came to know Mishy while selling Mary Kay. The reason I say it was meant to be is because I really hated selling Mary Kay. It was harder than I thought and I bit off more than I could chew. To get rid of my inventory I decided to sell everything at half price. Anyway the lady that had Mishy at the time find out through some one else I was getting rid of my inventory so she called me. When I arrived I noticed right away Mishy sitting on the porch, she did not even bark at me. I went inside and I told the lady you have a nice dog. She ask me do you want her, you can have her right now. I thought she was just joking around with me. Not too long after that I returned to her house to drop off an order. Then she asks me again about taking Mishy home. I ask her why would you want to give her away, she seems like such a good dog. At that time she was about one and a half years old. The woman's reply to that question was, "my daughters always wanted a dachshund so I got them one, then the new wore off, they lost interest. " I am sure you all know that is common with some children. She told them if they did not take care of her she would give her away. I told her if you are sure then I would love to take her home. So I did, and she is the sweetest dog, she has been with me since 1998. She does not growl or bark at anything except for cats, birds, squirrels and other dogs she does not know. Because she likes to tree squirrels I sometimes call her my hunting dog. Point is if I had not been selling Mary Kay I may have not found Mishy.
