Whew its been a while!

Life has been crazy with christmas and all, I just have not had a chance to write in my diary latley.

I went to grandma's for christmas this year. On christmas eve we got to open our presants because mom said there would be to much going on on christmas to open mine. Mom got me this real cute sweater that keeps me OH so warm! I never liked sweaters before but in 20 and below it feels real good to have it on. I bring my sweaters out when I'm cold and give them to mom so she can put one on me. I also got these real nice candycane dog bones from daddy...first thing I did was eat all the stripes off them! hehe. Grandma gave me a stuffed animal and the second I got my teeth around it I found the nose and ripped that bugger off...the nose is the easiest way to get the stuffing inside OUT.

On chrismas day we had lots of human visitors at grandma's...I was not very happy about all the people and new smells, but there was one that I took a liking to instantly. There was this wee thing there...my size! he grabbed my leash and started running all over the place with me, I wanted to stop and eat turkey that other kids were giving me, but he would not let me so mom took my leash off because he was choking me. He kept the leash in his hand...so I figured what the hey....I'll follow him anyway...he's fun. After I ate my table scraps we ran all around the house together till we were both so tired we collapsed on the floor together! Later that day his daddy took him upstairs to take a nap. I got real lonley so I went upstairs and took a nap with him too :)

SNOW! in october?!?!

So I woke up today thinking today would be pretty boring, mom had to run some errands and was gone for quite a few hours. When she got home though she was laughing so hard and talking to daddy all excited saying to put my sweater on and get the camra for rusty's first snow! I did not even hear the words SNOW at first... I was just so excited I was getting my sweater on and we were going outside! I ran out and slipped all over the stairs, there was this white fluffy & wet stuff all over the stairs! I stopped dead in my tracks once I stopped sliding around. EVERYTHING outside was white! I bent down to sniff this white stuff and to give it a little lick, just to see if I got lucky and it was edible. IT WAS EDIBLE! I slipped around making looonnnnggggg paw prints all over the ground and eating this stuff. Then I went to the grass and it was covered in it too! I tried to dig myself a hole but the stuff was cold...so I just wrote my name in the snow. Then I tried pouncing around in it...HaHa that was fun too.

Pupsickle!

Ok....I'm writing this to mom... Mom... I'm not a pupsickle...I dont like being a pupsickle so please dont do it again! I thought when you said "lets go to the park" that it would be fun like always. You put my sweater on thinking that little thing would keep me warm? Ok ... I admit, I had a blast playing at the park for the first 5 min. But with the slight mist of rain and the woofing cold breeze, that sweater did NOTHING...in fact it held those little drops of misty rain on my poor little body.
I do thank you for picking me up and hiding me in your jacket when you saw me trying to run & play but I started shaking to bad to run straite. Lets not go back to the park if its windy and misty ok mom?

My birthday party!

I am now a dog and not a puppy anymore! I turned one a few weeks ago and mommy threw me a birthday party! We went to granny's house for the birthday party and I ripped open my presents! I got a squeeky soccer ball from mommy and some beggin strips from daddy..oh they are the best bacon ever! I also got a double layer cake!!!! boy that was good...It had yummy hamburger layers with mashed potato frosting! I ate half of it in one sitting! My big dog belly was so full and round I felt like I was gonna burst.

Time flies and so do I

Mommy ask me this weekend if I wanted to go to a dog park! she finally found one in our new home! I was so excited...we went there and OH MY TAIL! it was SO much better than anything she used to call a dog park at our old home! We got there and there were over 20 dogs running around playing with each other... OFF THEIR LEASH! Did I mention THEY WERE OFF THEIR LEASHES! we entered the dog park and I was greeted by a big boy boxer! he came up and we sniffed tails and he bounced away OFF HIS LEASH to play chase. I got so excited..then mommy did something strange...she unhooked MY leash and told me to have fun!!!???!!! I ran off after that boxer as fast as my little legs would carry me! I greeted every dog I saw with a hello and a tail sniff.

The number of big dogs outnumbered the small ones by 5 to 1 and I was the smallest there... but I was determined to be the hit of the park...I played with the big dogs...the 2 great danes, the boxers, a german shepard, some labs , and some mixes. I would run up to them...and just so they would think I was their size I'd stand on my hind legs and walk around alittle till I fell back down. That seemed to impress them all and they let me play their big dog chase and wrestle games!

I played HARD for 2 hours straite...going back to touch my nose to mommy everyonce in a while...just to make sure she was ok and not scared, then I'd run off to play again.

I chased runner people in the park also..that was fun! All the big dogs turned around and followed me when I started barking and chasing them. HaHa I stopped and came back to mommy when the runners got to far away though...the big dogs did not, I think I got a few of them in trouble for that.

It was finaly time to go home though after 3 hours... I did not want to leave all my new friends but mommy made me. She promises we will go back every week! I cant waite! only 5 more days and counting.

Moving day

Its been a while since I wrote in my diary...alot has happened since then, I MOVED! It all started about a month ago when mommy brought home all these big brown boxes and started putting things in them. I was not to happy with it at first because the boxes took up my toy hiding spots and running room...so I'd pull things out as she put them in the boxes. That was a fun game, but then she got clever and started closing the boxes with "duck tape" personally I did not see any ducks on the tape...I checked it over good too! I love to chase ducks!

Well anyway...One day she got rid of all the boxes..I was so happy, then out of no where she brought another box inside! what the rrrooooff?!?! Another space taking box..but then she did something strange, she put all MY things in the box and took it away! As she was taking it away she ask if I was ready to go for a long car ride! CAR RIDE I bounced! I love car rides! Little did I know it would be a 2 day car ride.

My mommy says I was the best boy ever on our move, I slept on her lap 75% of the time. I did however get up to check out these huge trucks..mommy calls them simi trucks...BOY are those neat! I'd look out the window and perk up my ears every time we passed one! After 2 days of sleeping and truck watching we finally got to our new home. I'm not sure if I like it yet...there is a min pin that lives next door, but she does not like me to much.

The girlfriend pt 2

You can find a picture of me and my girlfriend on my list of pictures. Did I tell you how much I love her. She is so much fun to play with! Today one of mommies friends came over and I ran out the front door and around the corner. My mommies friend chased me around the corner, next thing I know he turns white as a sheet and runs back into the house. HeHe little did he know I was hiding behind Penny and she was not to happy to have someone chase her boyfriend.

My girlfriend!

This past month a new dog moved into town, she is so pretty! Usually I like to keep my distance from new dogs until I get a chance to sniff them out and see what kind of dog they are, but I could not resist myself with this beauty! Her name is penny...she is a pit bull dog. Our mommies let us play together every evening. I waite at the window and waite for her to go outside to go potty for a few hours every night. Then when I see her I run to my mom and whine and carry on so bad until she takes me outside.

My girlfriend loves me just as much as I love her. We chase each other, & wrestle all the time until I get to rough for her then she just takes her big paw and pushes me down. when we get tired we will lay down together and put our paws over each other. She even saved me from running across the street one day.I was being bad and tried to run out into the street, when penny saw this she grabbed my leash with her teeth and held me from going. I soon forgot why I wanted in the street and started playing with her again! She likes to walk me on my leash all the time now.

a new type of trick

So recently I decided I was tired of all my toys I had and wanted some of mommies toys. She alway puts her cell phone on this neat long black thing...so I thought, hey this might be a neat toy. I grabed it and ran while mommy was in the shower. It had a neat texture to chew on...I tore that thing into tiny little pieces! mommy could not even figure out what it was for a few minutes. Next I tried the long black thing that makes light glow out of it...that was even MORE fun! Mommy then got out of the shower and yelled at me, she said she was more mad at the fact that I chewed the things while they were still plugged in and could have been hurt.

I learned a valuable new trick that day. its called "cute and cuddley" while she was yelling at me I flipped my ears across each other so the tips touched together on my forehead and I wrinkled my face in that "what did I do" look. I then gave a cute irristable whimper and pounce forward. she soon stopped yelling at me and gave a little laugh although I dont think she wanted me to see it. Now I use this trick every time I try to test my boundries! it works great my doggy pals...you gotta try it.

life is good

Well its been a while since I wrote in my diary. I've been having so much fun and getting into so much trouble. My new favorite thing to do is waite till mommy has people friends over, then I run out in the living room with a piece of her undies and show them off to all her friends....they laugh...but she does not, she just turns red...I wish I could turn colors, thats a neat trick.

A few weeks ago I met my pup pal Cloe, she is an older min pin, we had tons of fun playing chase. I think I won though, I would duck under the couch and she was to big to chase me under, she had to crawl, thats when I made my escape...HaHaHa. But I dont think she liked me winning because she would pounce on me after I won...That scared me alot and I yelled..but I soon got over it and went back to playing chase :)
