Arrival Story:
I used to work as an animal control officer and worked at the shelter. Penny a nd Jack loved going to the shelter to run around in the play yard. In July, before Jack got sick, Penny, Jack and P.J. and P.J.'s sibling would all play together. I found out that Jack had cancer and Penny had congestive heart failure. Jack was in soooo much pain and mom knew Penny would not last long without Jack. So, Mom had to be unselfish and let Penny and Jack go to heaven together. Mom was not going to get another dog, but Jack and Penny's human friends had other ideas for mom. So, P.J. came home with mom. Mom thought Penny and Jack had approved of P.J. and mom had room enough in her heart for another little doggie. Mom is still grieving but, P.J. is helping. P.J. is named after Penny and Jack.
