Best Tricks: changing from mild mannered lab to wrestle maniac
Arrival Story: A well meaning friend of friend sent me an email. There he was it was love at first sight. I kept going back to his photos every day for a week. I had put my 11 year old Lab, Gus to sleep with liver failure Aug 8th, I did not need another dog. Jack was found in a neighboring state by a woman on the way to the beach. Having found numerous strays in the past she yelled Jackpot when she saw the ematiated, bad skin, heart worm and flea infested shadow of a dog on the side of the road. She felt he was on his last leg. He hit the jackpot when he found his guardian angel. Good food, flea bath and two days of sleeping got him on a good start. When I worked up the nerve to call I found that Jackpot had gone to a good home. To my suprise I was called two weeks later and learned that the new owner's cat hated Jack. Now Jack is my best friend. My cats love him. He has a gentle sweet nature and loves nothing more than throwing his 84 lbs on me, someone neglected to tell him he was not a Yorkie.
