Arrival Story:
Mom found me at a rescue center that had sprung me from the pound. Just for fun, I would open my kennel and then open the kennels of my doggie pals! At home, closing the dog door by inserting the partition has no effect as I have figured out how to open it--I will not be denied!

Bio:
At first, I was not sure if I wanted anything to do with getting into the ocean at our visits to the dog beach. However, after bounding in after a Lab, I found that it was ok after all!

My pal Fozzie Bear and I gave Mom quite a scare this weekend when we went on a romp across two busy streets! We were visiting a friend and I thought it would be fun to take a tour of the area. I have been cooking up the escape plan for some time, as we visit these friends quite often. I pried up the bolt at the bottom of the gate (since the top of the gate was locked), pushed my weight against the gate and...voila!

The Foz and I stopped to visit with some nice people in the department store parking lot and they called Mom to come and give us a ride home. Wasn't that nice?

Mom told us that she was worried about us and that we were lucky that we didn't get hurt crossing those busy streets. The people who found us told Mom that indeed we were lucky since the light was green for us when we crossed. Wonder why he didn't assume that we know how to use the walk signal?

Mom figured out how I managed to effect our escape and rigged the gate so that I cannot do it again. I shall have to start work on a new plan.

No worries, I'm up to the challenge ;)
