Arrival Story:
Stella was advertised on Craig's List as "Free to a good home" with only 5 days until the owners would leave town. They expected to find a good home for her in that amount of time. Stella was the color of my first "pittie".
Stella is quite petite and compact, but strong for her size. She would make an excellent agility partner. She twirls and dives and contorts and makes the other dogs mad because they can't put a lip on her. She is the only dog in the house that will come back when called after getting loose.
She does have separation anxiety and initially, was destructive. She is now kenneled with a male, and is doing great. She is quite the consumate escape aritist. She wants to be out with her humans and prefers not to spend time in the kennel.
She loves toys, treats, but mostly attention from her human. She does have issues with men: can't tell you why. She prefers women, but has shown little reaction to a few men along the way.
She is protective of her human and yard. If there is anything moving outside, Stella will let everyone know. She doesn't bark incessantly when all the lights go off in the house and it's time to sleep. She would be ideal for a single woman.
Bio:
Stella is very healthy except for a mild case of Demodex Mange (non-contagious to humans). UTD on shots/heartworm/flea treatment. She is also spayed.
