So we searched petfinder.com and found Noodle who seemed perfect. Cosmo went to meet Noodle to make sure he was the brother he always wanted and the rest is history. Cosmo wanted his own dog, but Noodle wants a wide-screen TV.

2005.06.28 Aunt Tracy gets married

I got to go to this place called Virginia. They tell me it' s state or a commonwealth or something. All I know is that I got to see some really big dogs (Dad says they were called Horses and Cows). I kinda freaked out so I barked at them a lot. Oh their poop tastes great!

We didn't make it to Aunt Tracy's wedding because I guess I'm a little too high maintenance. By the time I got my tux on there wasn't enough time to put on my makeup so Cosmo and I decided to stay at the hotel and take a nap.

We got to meet Uncle Karl and some other people later so that was good.

Mom says we were good for the whole car ride and we were terribly cute.

Mom gave me great running (on a leash) reviews until yesterday when I thought it would be fun to try to bite at her ankles while she ran. She put a stop to this pretty quickly and then I was happy enough to run alongside of her. She's slow, but I humour her.

We saw a hot hair balloon over the weekend and it FREAKED. ME. OUT. so I made sure that Daddy knew that I wasn't planning on getting anywhere near it. He FINALLY got the hint. Those humans... they're so slow sometimes.

We met a tiny German shorthair puppy named Jinxer. I think he was attracted to my good looks and charm personally. If that kid grows up to be anything like me - he'll be alright. :-) He came back to our yard and we ran around with him for a long time. He squeeked once, but he got right back up like nothing happened.

I don't know what we're going to learn with the trainer this week. Mom mentioned something about dealing with Cosmo and how he's afraid of his own shadow sometimes. What a little bitty girl. I'm sorry girls. I didn't mean that.

Have a good day. Woof.

Mom took us for a walk after work. She said we were being bad and she had to get home for something called a "haircut" so our walk was shorter than she originally told us it was going to be. What's a haircut? Do I need to get one?

We were in the yard playing and then Cosmo got to go into the park and I got stuck staying in the yard. I was so upset I just barked and barked and refused to play with my kong. I was delighted when it was my turn though and I tried not to rub it into Cosmo's face.

After dinner came the wetness. Mama got in the tub with me and got me all wet and then put Buddy Wash on me. That stuff is funny - it gets all lathery and foamy. Mom said I did better than last time because I didn't even whine or shake while I was getting my bath. I didn't really want to be there, but it did kinda feel good. Cosmo was out in the hallway whining like a little girl because apparently he was jealous.

As soon as she opened those doors I jumped out of the tub so she would stop pouring water on me. Despite it being a holiday for them and all - Puppy Transport came and brought me out to the yard to dry off. Of course I had to rub up against all of the trees and the patio like I was a cat.

We went for a walk after that, got treats, and then I was pooped so I just relaxed on the bed.
