Mom and Dad took us to Virginia this weekend. I had already been there when they brought me to meet Beetle and Bailey (those crazy kids) but Noodle (as far as we know) has never been to VA. We forgot to get a sticker for the crate though. We'll get one.
We had a good time. We didn't even get to meet Aunt Tracy, but we did meet Uncle Karl and some other people.
Mom says we were a little obnoxious at the hotel because we kept barking at every. single. noise. all throughout the night. *I* say I was just protecting her from all of the evil lurking outside of our door.

We didn't go anywhere exciting this past weekend. Mom has taken us (one at a time) for a little run around the park. Mom HATES it when I bite the leash and try to play tug-of-war with it while we're running - but that's what makes it so much fun. Eventually I get tired of jumping up to get it so I stop and just run next to her.
Mom is SO. SLOW. I try to humour her and run next to her, but seriously I'm only just kind of walking. She says I make her look bad because I'm just trotting along like the pace is nothing and she claims to be "running". Silly humans.
Dad took us on a bunch of walks while Mom was away on Saturday. On Sunday while we were mosying in the park we got to meet a dachshund whose owner thought we might be aggressive. HA. Then we got to meet tiny little Jinxer who came back to our yard to play with us. He's a tiny little 12 week old German Shorthair pointer. Jinxer probably weighs about 12 lbs, but give him a few months and he'll outweigh the both of us.

Mama gave me a bath yesterday. I was so excited. She gave Noodle his bath first, so I sat outside the bathroom door and whined like a baby because she wouldn't let me in. When it was my turn I came right into the bathroom and went into the tub no problem. The mud just poured off of my little duckie body and I felt so much better. In fact, I felt so good that I did a crazy, happy, jiggly, little dance in the bathroom as I was drying off. Mom laughed at me.
Mama keeps complimenting me because I'm all shiney again and she says I smell so good. Must be the Buddy Wash.
She took Noodle and I for another lap of the park. We chased a rabbit up a tree and then embarrassed a couple who were laying in the grass. Mom still won't tell me what they were doing.
