We spent many years together, hitchhiking and exploring the west coast from Los Angeles to Anchorage, before settling in Portland. Magic's beauty and grace taught me that love can move mountains, and that we are all strong together. Sadly, Magic crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 11/20/04, and is missed by all who knew her.

The Bridge at Journey's End

My beautiful girl, who blessed me with many years of love and friendship, finally went Home to the Rainbow Bridge. I miss her more than anything, and I wrote this poem to honor her memory.

THE BRIDGE AT JOURNEY'S END

The day you came into my life
a messenger from above,
you opened up my eyes and heart
with your precious gift of love.

Through all the years you brought me joy
ever steadfast at my side,
as we traveled along the road of life
a journey far and wide.

But now this wondrous journey
has come unto it's end,
and God has called for you to cross
the Rainbow Bridge,
my Friend.

I cannot say I will not weep
now that you've gone away,
but you will always live here in my heart
'til we meet again some day.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF MAGIC-
